Kenya’s Health Ministry has confirmed another case of Mpox, bringing the total to four. 

Though no travel history of the patient was immediately diverged, the case was reported in Nakuru County. 

The four confirmed cases are now in Taita Taveta, Busia, Nairobi, and Nakuru counties. 

Health PS Mary Muthoni said on Saturday that two more samples are pending confirmation. 

The Health Ministry also says it has screened some 16,533 travelers at major entry points in the last 24 hours.

Yesterday, the ministry confirmed a third case, a 30-year-old woman from Nairobi who recently traveled to Uganda.
