Kenyan digital creator Natalie Tewa has announced her engagement, sharing the exciting news with her fans as she reflected on the blessings, challenges and milestones that have shaped her life in 2026.
Tewa revealed the news in an Instagram post shared on Saturday, October 24, describing her engagement as a beautiful moment and expressing gratitude to God for guiding her relationship.
“I think it’s time I update my feed with some major life events,” she wrote, adding that the year had been filled with “major blessings and major challenges and change” that had sometimes made life feel like a paradox.
“Through it all, I’ve seen God walk with us and for that I’m extremely grateful,” she added.
The content creator also opened up about how her love story began, revealing that her mother played a role in bringing the couple together.
“I am so happy we found each other (with my mum playing Cupid a very funny story actually,” she shared.
Three years after finding each other, Tewa said the couple had reached a significant milestone in their relationship, with the proposal taking place aboard a private boat as the sun set.
“I have to give it to him… this was such a beautiful moment on a private boat, as the sun set and I had no idea what was coming,” she wrote.
The surprise proposal marked the beginning of a new chapter for the couple, who are now looking forward to building a life together.
“And now… we continue to build a beautiful life together and forever,” she added, using the hashtags #Wifey, #WhenISaidYes and #Proposal.
Although Tewa shared details of the romantic setting, she did not disclose her fiancé’s identity in the post.
The announcement comes as the digital creator reflects on a year she describes as a mixture of significant blessings, challenges and personal growth, making the engagement one of the major milestones she chose to share with her followers.
Natalie Tewa was previously engaged to Francis Mugane Mbugua , an Amsterdam-based strategy and operations director for Booking.com.
The couple got engaged in February 2023, but Natalie later announced the end of their engagement in August 2024.
