Mugithi star Samidoh Muchoki has earned his first degree from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
Through a post on his socials, Samidoh, who graduated with a Bachelor of Business Information Technology, congratulated his colleagues for the milestone as he set his sights on advancing his education.
“Congratulations!! Fellow Graduands. Discover JKUAT Leo hakuna kukunja sura na vile kwa hizi street mmekuwa,” he captioned a photo with some of his classmates.
In 2023, the singer talked about his early life and his desire to become a lawyer. He shared his KCPE grades on his page, showing he was ‘index one’ in his school.
Having sat for the examination in 2004, the father of five said his current profession is miles apart from what he aspired to do but is grateful nonetheless.
"Huyo index number one wa kwenu anafanyanga nini siku hizi. I aspired to be a lawyer. Saa hii mimi ni One man guitar AKA Singing policeman.
"Dreams not shattered bado nakula mbuku," he wrote.
His followers quickly took to the comment section to opine on his grades, some teasing him that his prayers were answered in the form of Karen Nyamu who is a lawyer.
