1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1 chopped onion
3 tablespoons white vinegar
Method:
Mix all the above ingredients and make your meatballs, then fry the meatballs in a frying pan in 3 tablespoons of oil until golden brown and cooked, then set aside.
Using the same frying pan, add the plain yoghurt, 1/2 teaspoon crushed black peppercorns and salt.
Bring to a simmer and add the cooked meatballs, then add 1 teaspoon of cornstarch diluted in 3 tablespoons of water to thicken the sauce, bring to a boil and cook until thick.
Let’s make the sizzle to add on top:
2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon crushed black pepper
4 teaspoons fresh coriander, chopped
Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat, sauté the minced garlic, add the black pepper and coriander. Cook for about 1 minute until it starts to sizzle, then pour over the kofta curry while it’s still hot. Serve with your favourite rice or bread. Enjoy!
