Five foods that will boost your sperm count

Health

Low sperm count, also called Oligospermia, is when a man’s semen contains fewer sperms than normal.  One’s sperm count is considered low if they have fewer than 15 million sperms per milliliter of semen. Having a low sperm count decreases ones chances of fertility. However, men with low sperm count are still able to have children. Here are the foods that will boost your sperm count:

Bananas

Bananas contain nutrients that increase an individual’s libido and regulate hormones due to an enzyme found in them. It’s called the bromelain enzyme. They contain high potassium nutrients to help regulate energy levels. They also contain vitamins A, C and B1 which boost one’s ability to produce sperms.

Garlic

Garlic is a miracle herb that does wonders in the body. It contains two elements that increase sperm count; Allicin and Selenium. Allicin is known to improve blood flow to your sexual organs and protect the sperms from damage while Selenium is an antioxidant that improves sperm motility, the sperms ability to move independently.

Dark chocolate

Chocolates have high calories and are notorious. The dark chocolate is made from the cocoa tree. It contains amino acids that increase sperms and the volume of the semen.

Broccoli

Broccoli is a green vegetable commonly with green flower buds. It contains vitamin A which increases fertility. Lack of vitamin A makes sperm production slow thus lowering fertility.

Walnuts

Walnuts are among the oldest tree foods grown by man. A walnut-rich diet improves sperm quality and reduces lipid peroxidation, a process that can damage sperm cells. The Omega-3 fatty acids increase the count and quality of the sperms.
