Sometimes all you need, especially in the chilly weather, is to sink your teeth in comfort foods. And nothing beats some healthy starch and some juicy meats .
What you need
1/4 kg lean beef 1/4 onion diced 2 tsps. of fresh ginger & garlic mince 1 tbsp. of chopped cilantro A dash of cumin powder Salt to taste Egg white beaten Samosa pockets
Method
Heat up a pan and add ½ a tbsp. of cooking oil. Add the beef and cook it on medium high heat. Once the meat starts browning, add onions, ginger, garlic, cumin and salt. Stir well then let it all cook until the meat has completely browned. Taste the beef and make adjustments before adding cilantro. Mix everything together then turn the heat off. Let the beef cool before you begin to assemble. Start assembling and use the egg white to seal the pockets. Pre- heat the oven as you brush the samosas with oil on both sides. Place on the baking tray and bake in a 150 degree oven under the broiler for 8-10 minutes before turning them. Bake the samosas for 12-15 minutes or until they have slightly browned. Once ready, leave to cool and serve.Would you get plastic surgery?
