Let's make this simple and delicious beef dish, with some red capsicum infused. The capsicum will give it a sweet punch, making it one of a kind.
What you will need
500g beef fillet steak (cut into strips)
1 large red capsicum or bell pepper, cut into strips
1 onion, sliced
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic mince
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Juice of 1 lemon
What to do
In a wok over medium heat, put in the oil and saute the onions until soft. Add the garlic and mix well, then go in with the beef strips. Cook for about 5 minutes or so.
Add the salt and pepper cook for another two minutes, then go in with the red capsicum. Mix well; it should produce its own juices. Reduce heat to low and squeeze the juice of 1 lemon.
It is now ready to serve with either ugali or mashed potatoes.
