Today let's make crusted cheese beef fillet steak sandwich, which is mouth-watering and filling.

Ingredients:

For the sauce;

200g eggless mayonnaise

1 teaspoon black pepper

Salt to taste

2-3 tablespoons ketchup

Juice of 1 lemon

Method:

Mix everything and set aside.

For the steak;

500g fillet steak, thinly sliced

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon steak seasoning of your choice

Salt to taste

2 tablespoons butter

1 stick Rosemary

2 garlic cloves

Method:

Marinate the steak with salt, seasoning, and black pepper.

Pan-sear it in a hot nonstick pan with the butter.

Add the rosemary and garlic cloves and cook for about 5 minutes on each side.

Once cooked, slice it to make beef strips.

For the bread;

8 slices whole wheat brown bread

250g mozzarella cheese, sliced

Soft lettuce

Kachumbari (optional)

Method:

In a hot pan arrange the mozzarella then place two slices of bread.

Once the cheese crusts remove the bread that is attached to the cheese and flip it over.

Spread the sauce, arrange the lettuce and beef strips.

Now add some kachumbari if you wish.

Flip it over to make a sandwich.

Enjoy with potato crisps or chips.
