Recipe: How to prepare mango chilli salad [Courtesy, Chef Ali Mandhry]

Today we make this delicious mango combo as we gear up for the mango season.

Ingredients:

3 semi-ripe mangoes

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt to taste

Juice of 1 lime

1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Soft lettuce

Method:

Wash the mangoes and peel them.

Cut them into cubes and put them in a bowl.

Add cayenne pepper, paprika and salt and toss the mangoes.

Add lime juice and mix.

Drizzle the honey; if the mangoes are sweet enough you may not need to sweeten them with the honey.

Serve on a plate with lettuce on the side. Enjoy this as a side salad or a snack on its own.
