Peel the cassava and cut it into French fry-sized pieces. Rinse the cassava pieces under cold water to remove any excess starch.
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the oil. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the cassava pieces to the oil and fry for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.
Use a slotted spoon to remove the cassava pieces from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
Sprinkle the salt over the fried cassava pieces and serve immediately. Enjoy!
