Popular musicians Wahu Kagwi and David Mathenge alias Nameless are a true definition of a successful marriage. They met in 1998 in campus, wedded seven years later at the beautiful shores of Lake Naivasha and 22 years later, they are celebrating 15 years of marriage!
Taking to their social media handles, the power couple showered each other with adorable messages celebrating their beautiful time together.
Reminiscing the day she said I do, Wahu reveals that even though their journey has not been the easiest, to her Nameless remains the one:
“September 10th 2005. I got on a boat… Sailed across a lake and said “I do” to my campus sweetheart.
We’ve had our ups and downs, our fights and makeups, our happiness and sadness, our wins and our losses… And 15 years later. You’re still the one!! Happy 15th anniversary to us!!! Here’s to forever! I’m excited about the future! I love you always @namelesskenya,” she wrote.
On his part, Nameless reassured his wife of his love and support as he also took a peek at how far they have come:
“Yooo… Today it’s 15 years since we said I DO (and 22 years since nilikuingisha box … you still THE ONE! Happy anniversary babe! Cheers to us, cheers to our journey, cheers to the ups the downs, joys and sorrows, the wins and losses, yooo!! We definately grown! The journey continues!! and I still got your back,” Nameless wrote.
The adorable Mathenges are blessed with two daughters- Tumiso Mathenge and Nyakio Mathenge.
The two met at the University of Nairobi where Nameless was studying Architecture while Wahu was pursuing a degree in Mathematics.
