The season when most campuses hold their graduation ceremony is here and there are some things you probably need to do before turning the tassel because, hey, we all know what makes it to most students’ fun bucket list
Finally flirt with your crush
In campus, there is that guy or chic you have been eyeing either simply because you have a crush on them or because... for real, you are into them. The last few weeks in campus are the right ones to make an advance and tell them what you feel about them.
This is because they can decide to break your heart and the good thing is that you might never meet again. Whichever way this goes, it’s a win-win. After all, you said it!
Make the sleep-over
It is most likely that after campus you will never get an opportunity to do a sleep-over at a friend’s place. Probably you have never known how it feels to sleep away from home or...for that matter...experienced a night-out at a friend’s. This is the time to do so. It’s called the experiment!
For good or bad, open up to a lecturer
This is the time to make up over issues that either brought you friction between you and a lecturer or even a comrade.
You can walk to that lecturer’s office and thank them for helping you, or just be honest how they made your life hard in campus – then make up. The same applies to students you had issues with in campus as so is life.
Go for that campus outing
Whether it is a Christian Union weekend challenge or a drama festival moment out of campus, please, this is the time to take advantage. Sometimes, students are so much about campus and books that they never get to learn what else happens in campus life.
Try to do an exercise you have never done like attending a campus tournament (like evening students should really try this). This will give you a fresh perspective about campus you never knew.
Hit the road hard
Every university student dreams that they can do a trip out, at least, once with their campus clique. It could be a random trip to Naivasha or an organised SGR trip to Mombasa.
We are not talking about those arranged trips that take four months to plan then flop on the eleventh hour. No! It is more fun when you get spontaneous; experience the fantasy and the challenges on the way because for sure, this will be memorable. Don’t plan hard...Just hit the road and have a mad party.
Make a campus couple
Now, stop judging! All that is in your mind! Somethings in life, in fact, all things, starts from trying. How will you ever get a wife if you have never dated or simply asked a girl out? Stop being the stingy type...if you know what that means.
You can open up to a friend and take them out on a romantic date. Go out on a movie, a picnic or invite her at your cube for dinner. Sometimes God works in mysterious ways.
We are not talking about you putting pressure over yourself. We are simply saying that if the craving is on, don’t hesitate to love.
