1.           His real name is Aggrey Kaka Meshack.

2.            Jinks was his first stage name but he later changed it to Bantu after his friends randomly picked it for him.

3.            He is a good deejay and in 2008, he made it to the countrywide Pilsner Mfalme competition semi finals as DJ Kidungush.

4.            He recently celebrated his 25th birthday.

5.            He only has one brother — who is an architect.

6.            If he weren’t a musician, he would have loved to be a news anchor in any local media house.

7.            Bantu holds a diploma in Graphics Design and Media from Mombasa University College.

8.            His musical career has seen him scoop 15 awards with his largest fan base being at the Coast.

9.            Besides music, he is the CEO at Cream visions, a video productions company.

10.          He is currently single and his ideal girl would have to be light skinned, beautiful, brainy and God-fearing.
