Former Tahidi High actress Jackie Matubia has disclosed that she’s pregnant with her second child.
Announcing the news via Instagram, the Zora actress shared a hilarious TikTok video, imitating rapper Nicki Minaj’s voice saying, “I took some time off to rest, and now it’s game time.”
Dressed in red, the media personality seemed excited sharing the news with her fans as she embraced her growing bump in the video, which she captioned, “Iitabidi mmenijudge juu I can’t explain.”
Following the news, fans and fellow celebrities camped in the comment section and congratulated the actress while wishing her the best in her journey.
Jackie will now be a mother of two after welcoming her first child, Zari Wanjiku, in 2015.
While opening up about her first pregnancy during a previous interview, Jackie said she slipped into postpartum depression, which nearly cost her marriage to ex-husband Kennedy Njogu.
The actress said that the mood disorders nearly ruined her marriage as they both knew nothing about postpartum mental health.
“I had these conflicting feelings of constantly wondering whether I should have waited to have a baby and when I tried going back to work, I felt like I was not being the best mum. I would wake up and cry for about two hours and I couldn’t get myself out of it,” said Jackie during an interview with Parents Magazine.
