The Rift Valley champions were followed into the semis by Dagoretti who defeated Matiliku 1-0.

In Group A, there's everything to play for as hosts Shanderema, Nyanza's Agoro Sare, and Kirangari all fight for the remaining two slots.

Collins Kati hit the post three times later in the final minutes as Agoro Sare held on to pick a vital point.

"We are happy with the result. The boys started the match poorly but we picked up the pace in the second half. Coming from a goal down shows the team has character and we have to play better today against Harar," said Agoro Sare coach, Fredrick Agutu.

Shanderema sit joint top of the pool with four points same as Agoro Sare, who have an inferior goal difference of one goal. Shanderema have eight goals.

Shanderema must beat Kirangari to qualify for the last four. Kirangari saw off Harar 3-0 and they sit third with three points. Agoro will qualify if they avoid defeat against Harar.
