Music producer and rapper, Magix Enga, has announced his return to the music scene after a prolonged hiatus. Sharing the news with his fans on social media, the acclaimed producer began by expressing gratitude to God for being by his side, his wife, his fans, and musical counterparts.
"Back from the shadows, stronger than ever. Mungu Wangu Hujainiangusha. Thank you to everyone who never lost faith in me, Kerry Lens, Willy M Tuva, Asila Bunny, Nebert Nebo, Big Afrique Studios, DJ Sule, and especially my incredible wife who stood by my side through it all. Massive big up to my friends and fans pia... mmekuwa mkiuliza Enga alienda wapi... Enga is back! Time to create some epic timeless music," he wrote.
The father of one has relaunched his musical career as a producer with Big Afrique Studios, located in his hometown Eldoret-a journey he admits he is extremely ecstatic about.
"As I step back into the limelight, I carry with me the support of an incredible team and the unwavering belief of my new Hometown, Eldoret. Together, we'll write a story of resilience, redemption, and gratitude. Magix Enga On The Beat, shaking up things in the Eldoret music scene... Ladies and gentlemen, meet the newest producer at Big Afrique Studios. Looking forward to what this new chapter brings and all the dope music we'll get to create together," he added.
I was exploited
Not too long ago, Magix Enga took to social media to seek financial support from his fans, explaining that musicians he worked with exploited him and never paid him for his input in their productions.
"Magix Enga, the most talented beat King in Africa and the rest of the world. Some of the artists that I did collaborations with took advantage of me. Most of the songs that I produced, i.e., (dundaing, watoto na pombe Otile brown ft Enga and maja, mapenzi hisia) and many others, I am not benefiting from them.
The Flexing crooner, who welcomed his first child with his wife just months ago, went on to intimate that his studio was closed due to rent arrears.
He extended a plea to President William Ruto to assist him.
"Right now, as I write this, I have a 1-month-old baby boy who is depending on me. I tried to pull myself together, but the studio I was working in was shut down because of rent issues. I still believe that I am the best producer. For instance, Gengetone beats-people loved them, i.e., the most trending song is Mamiondoko, which I have not benefited from. Digidigi from Arrow Boy has more than 10,000,000 views, I have not gotten even a single cent from it. Currently, I don't have a job. Our president, Dr. William Samoei Ruto, I can urge you to please help me in whatever support you can, starting from the music industry to my colleague."
