Content creator Sueh Owino has enough reasons to smile this Christmas after her husband supposedly surprised her with a car.

Through her socials, Sueh, who gained fame through her detailed cooking videos, was thankful to her spouse for buying her her first car.

“My husband just bought me my first car. May he be blessed,” she wrote.

In the comment section, her followers congratulated her saying she deserves it for taking good care of her husband.

Agrippina: Yes? cause you deserve it.. congratulations ?

Sledge: Ukipika ivyo vyote kwa nini nisinunue gari?

Wamuyu Maina: Atleast he is reciprocating... congratulations

Joey: When you honor and encourage your husband, most definitely he'll work hard.

Petronilla: You deserve all the happiness

When Standard Entertainment spent a day with Sueh earlier this year, the Gen Z content creator said she has been married for just under three years but delights in cooking for her husband everyday.

"I've been married for less than three years now, and that's when I started cooking for my husband every day.

“The Bible says a wife must submit to her husband, and in return, the husband must love his wife. It's a partnership where both sides hold up their end of the bargain. For me, that means cooking and ironing every day, just to name a few tasks. It's as simple as waking up and doing what I’m supposed to be doing – nothing more, nothing less,” she said.

Sueh said satisfying her husband's palate doesn't require a culinary extravaganza every day.

In fact, his favourite meals are potatoes cooked in different ways – fries, wedges, garlic chips – you name it!

She added that she learnt how to take care of a man from her mum, saying she does not fancy artificial nails and make-up.

“It's something I decided after reading the Bible. My mom did the same thing too. I think men have their preferences, and if they want a wife with Christian values who can handle daily chores without fancy nails and makeup, we should let them have it.

“Personally, fake nails wouldn't work for me. I need to be able to wash clothes and work on the farm. It's all about practicality and saving money. I mean, who has time to worry about eyebrows when you're busy planning the day's menu? Although I'll admit, I do get my nails and make-up done once in a while for special occasions,” she said.

Sueh said she holds traditional values close to her heart and believes the way to a man’s heart is through the stomach.
