Diamond's children Prince Nillan and Princess Tiffah could not hold back their tears as their father bid them goodbye in South Africa.
After spending time with them, it was time to drop them at Zari Hassan's house but they could not let go when their dad explained why they could not spend the night at his house.
"Why can't we spend the night at your house?" asked Tiffah.
His father replied, "If we go to my house, you won't be able to go to the home affairs office tomorrow because Mama Tee has to take you tomorrow to fix your passports. Once you are done, on Thursday, we will go to Tanzania, then Rwanda."
This was also the first time Diamond had interacted with Zari since she got married to Shakhib Lutaaya.
In June this year, Diamond said there is a lot of respect between him and Zari to the point that the kids think they live together.
According to him, they do not allow any negativity around them as they purpose to give them the best in life.
"We are just co-parenting and respecting each other. As you know, everybody has a partner so we have to respect each other. We try to be more modern, and urban, and we don't want to entertain negativity when it comes to our kids and we keep it more professional. That's why when you see our kids around us, they're more comfortable.
"We don't wanna stress them. I don't even show them if I'm dating, they think I'm still dating their mother. I don't wanna stress my kids because I know what I went through when I was a little kid seeing my mother without my father...it was a little bit stressful for me. When it comes to the kids, we (Zari and I) come together," he said.
