Hours after Brown Mauzo announced that he had parted ways with Vera Sidika, the socialite was busy living her best life, marvelling at the attention she was getting.
It started with an Instagram post where she emphasised 'catching flights, not feelings' then she went to her instastories, posting a screenshot of her name being among the top trends.
"Been trending on Twitter (X) for over 6 hours now...My DMs waaaah," she wrote.
Vera loves attention and from past incidents, this might be one of her clout-chasing antics.
Remember when she fooled the entire country that her 'nyash' had suddenly deflated after a Brazilian Butt Lift reversal? Let me jog your memory a bit.
In October 2022, Vera shared snippets of her supposed BBL reversal in a series of videos. She went ahead to claim that she had to undergo tests prior to the surgery to ensure everything was okay.
"Y'all asking if nimepona must be crazy. Kwani I got the surgery done yesterday??? Shaking my head. By the time I posted here I was feeling better already. I wouldn't let myself be in pain and still stomach y'all hateful comments at the same time," she wrote.
Kenyans online were quick to opine on the matter and butt implants quickly became a matter of national importance, only for Vera to release a song!
She rapped about how she is still relevant in the industry and is making money through her ventures.

This, however, did not go down well with some of her followers who castigated her for using a sensitive topic to chase clout.
"Where do you draw the line on clout chasing? This was a sensitive topic for women in general and being self-conscious with their image that turns out fatal sometimes. This is not acceptable! Other countries put up with this BS but Kenya must NEVER be one of them PERIOD! #CancelVeraSidika," the comment read.
"The height of clout of chasing, This country went bananas, literally sold our souls to vanity. Vera literally made headlines in Nigerian media too," @Joelene Nakova wrote.
Others did not have an issue with her antics as they argued that she was 'smart' to get everyone talking and has a good grasp of what works in the showbiz industry.
