Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has addressed the swirling rumours about her being expectant. The speculations began when Nyamu shared photos of herself attending the grand opening of Akothee's eldest daughter Vesha's winery business.

Her choice of a fitting long black dress that revealed a protruding stomach led her fans to assume she might be pregnant, and they flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages.

On July 31st, the politician posted a video of herself in a black and white dress in a lift, further fueling discussions among netizens.

The dress hugged her body, making it seem like she was holding her stomach. The caption "It has been a long time coming" left her fans uncertain whether the video was recent or from a previous time.

However, Nyamu clarified the situation in an interview with a local website, stating that she was simply bloated after attending an event and dismissed the pregnancy talk.

She hinted that people would eventually find out the truth, saying, "Lakini si mtajua tu with time kama iko ama haiko."

Late last year, the mother of three had hinted at the possibility of having a fourth child. When a fan commented on how much her two children resembled their father, singer Samidoh, Nyamu expressed her desire to have a child who takes after her.

She shared that she had not given up and was considering trying for another child. In October 2022, she again sparked excitement among her fans by expressing her wish to have another baby before closing the chapter on expanding her family.
