Eminem's eldest daughter, Alaina Scott wed her long-time love earlier this month, and she has now revealed that her famous dad played a crucial role in the ceremony.
She confirmed to People Magazine that the celebrated rapper was as supportive as any daughter would wish on her big day, saying: "I had an 80-ft long black and white checkered aisle and my dad walked me down the aisle. He wasn't going to miss that.
Scott wed her long-time love Matt Moeller on June 9 in a "Great Gatsby Glam" themed wedding that has been described as intimate.
"[She] and her husband exchanged handwritten vows in front of 125 guests at the Packard Proving Ground Historic museum in Shelby Township, Michigan," People reports.
Before she disclosed her dad's role in the nuptials, several reports suggested that the rapper had not attended the ceremony, but that has now been disproved.
"The news follows speculation that the "Lose Yourself" rapper, 50, didn't attend the June 9 bash because he wasn't spotted in photos of the celebration," New York Post notes.
Scott told people that she chose to keep the "sacred" moment intimate by surrounding herself with people who share the couple's daily lives.
"We did something super untraditional and didn't allow many plus ones. This was important to us," Scott said.
Her sister, Hailie Jade was her maid of honour. Their non-binary sibling Stevie Laine was also present on the big day, bringing all of Eminem's three children together.
"It was something I'll never forget, having my sister there on such a special day, especially now that she's engaged," Scott said.
The report notes that the exquisite affair featured touches of modern glam decor including 1940 and 1947 Packard limousine cars. The bride wore a custom Katerina Bocci gown and walked down an aisle lined with 2000 white roses.
"These are once-in-a-lifetime moments and I'm just so grateful to be loved the way I am by everyone. None of this would have been possible without my Dad. I'm beyond blessed," Scott said.
