Stand-up comedian Nasra Yusuff and her husband, Director Rashid, have announced they are pregnant with their first child. Sharing the news through their YouTube channel, the soon-to-be first-time parents could not hide their joy as they clarified that it was not a prank as they had done before.
Nasra, a comedian under the Churchill Show, took to Instagram to express how excited she was to embark on the motherhood journey. Nasra said she immediately fell in love with the human she was carrying after discovering she was expecting.
"This is the happiest I have been in a long time. I'm in love with a human I haven't met yet... can't wait to meet you my baby... imagine having a child with the love of your life. I love you @director_rashid, Vid up on Nasrashid," Nasra Yusuff shared.
Director Rashid said he had been waiting for such news for the longest time, and now the journey has begun. He further reassured his wife of his love for her and expressed gratitude for their new chapter in their marriage.
"I have been waiting for this to happen for a while and Finally Allah has made it happen Alhamdulillah. I Can't wait to meet you my baby. You will be cute like your mother @nasrayusuff ... I love you," he wrote.
"I know you guys have been waiting for such news for a while. The last time najua tuliwaprank. But now it's not a prank. We are serious, tunasubiri kukua wazazi,” added Rashid.
Nasra expressed confidence that Rashid would be the best father to their little one, saying that he has been waiting to become a father for such a long time.
"I think you will be the best father ever like for real. This guy has been waiting for this moment for the longest ever," she shared.
The celebrity couple also added that they would invite their fans to walk with them throughout their pregnancy journey.
