Betty Mutei Kyalo is set to release a family reality show. Through an interview with bloggers, the media personality and entrepreneur has unveiled that her latest project is a Keeping Up With The Kardashians type of show.

"We have this special project that is coming up with my family, especially my sisters. It is our reality TV show," Betty teased.

Previously, Betty had begun her YouTube channel, BK Lately, which featured content on her life. The show was however put to a pause after the realisation that the content from both shows; the upcoming reality show and BK Lately would be similar.

“I know (BK Lately) was so special to many people but we paused it. We are working on something bigger. Hatujawaachilia tu hivyo," she told her fans.

According to Betty, their new reality show will be premiering on TV in April or May this year. She however did not mention the station in which it will be airing.

Betty, who left the anchoring scene in 2020 has declared her comeback to mainstream media but not as a news anchor.

"I am coming back on TV as my own person. I am not going back on news. That chapter for me nimeeka pause kidogo. I love the thrill and adrenaline of business and empowering people," she said while launching her new business centre at the Nairobi CBD.

Betty opened up about her love life after her breakup with Nick Ndeda, stating that she is shifting focus to herself and her dreams.

"Niko tu sawa. I really want to take a lot of time to focus on myself, push it, kill it. I feel energetic. This year I am turning 33 years - kama Yesu. I want to make sure that I go for all my dreams. That is where my focus is at right now; business and making money for my daughter," she said.
