Mix Masters Entertainment CEO DJ Kalonje and his video vixen girlfriend, Racheal Ogolla, aka Laquina, have parted ways amicably.
Taking to Instagram, the celebrated deejay, real name George Waweru, said he and Laquina mutually decided to go their separate ways.
“In life all good things must come to an end, even the most amazing moments with friends and loved ones. What is important are the memories created and also the lessons learnt. I would like to state that Rachel aka Laquina and I have mutually decided to each go our separate ways,” wrote Kalonje in part.
Without disclosing the cause of the break up, Kalonje added, “With respect for each other’s future endeavours. I wish her all the best in life as we both embark on different journeys.”
Confirming the same on her Instagram, Laquina referred to Kalonje as a great man, saying she would forever cherish the memories they created while dating.
“Well, all good things come to an end eventually. Deejaykalonje and I have decided to part ways in a very amicable way. He is a great man and I pray that God gives him someone who will always be there for him, all the memories we created all the fun times we had, will never fade away. I pray for blessings upon your life and you will forever remain in my heart,” wrote Laquina.
However, this is not the first time Laquina and Kalonje have publicly announced their break up.
In March 2021, the video vixen announced she was no longer dating the DJ, saying she wanted to focus on herself. At the time, the two had only dated for five months.
“I’m publicly announcing that I broke up with Deejay Kalonje. I wish him the best in whatever he does. Whatever you see out there just know that I’m not part of it. I’m single and now I just want to focus on myself, thanks,” wrote Laquina.
DJ Kalonje went public with Laquina a year after separating from his fiancée Sonnie Kangai whom he had dated for seven years.
Kalonje broke up with Sonnie a year after he proposed to her in 2017 during a vacation in Dubai.
