It seems Tanzania’s film star Kajala Masanja has had enough from a section of her fans who keep taking a swipe at she and her daughter, Paula Kajala.
In an interview, the 38-year-old actress said those who keep insulting her and her daughter on social media are only adding to her life.
According to her, she is surprised that so many people have neglected their business to make it their daily routine to insult her and her baby girl on social media.
“Unajua mtu akiwa anasemwa kila siku bila sababu za msingi; yaani ukiamka mtu ni kushika simu na kwenda kwenye mitandao kunitukana mimi na mtoto wangu. Mungu ananipa zawadi ya kuniongezea siku za kuishi na mtoto wangu, maana ameshaona watu hawawezi maisha yao mengine bila mimi na mtoto wangu,” she said.
For the past couple of months, Kajala has been under heavy criticism for her parenting skills.
Early this year, she became a trending topic after she blamed Hamisa Mobeto for allegedly misleading her daughter by introducing her to Bongo Star Rayvanny, where according to her Kajala, her daughter was taken advantage of.
“On February 9 at 6pm, Hamisa asked for permission to take my child for lunch. I did not see the need to refuse because I knew she was a parent, who also has a baby girl. But on that day, she took advantage and took her to meet Rayvanny for their personal benefit. They lured a child by giving her alcohol and they recorded a dirty video,” posted Kajala.
Reacting to the allegations, Hamisa threatened to sue Kajala claiming that she had nothing to do with the girl meeting Rayvanny or the alleged video clip.
"I am not your damage control. Yes, I took your daughter for lunch and all that time, I was updating you on our whereabouts," Hamisa said.
“When I was with her, she had different hair from when she was with Rayvanny."
