Kanye West spotted 'still wearing wedding ring'

Kim Kardashian may have filed for divorce from Kanye West just a few weeks ago but it appears the rapper may not be giving up hope of a reconciliation with his wife just yet.

The 43-year-old was spotted flashing his wedding ring as he closed his car door outside of his Calabasas office. Flashing what appeared to be a smile, Kanye also looked like he was head to toe in his Yeezy line, wearing a dark grey shirt matched with blue trousers.

The Gold Digger singer is said to be hoping to work things out with the mother of his four kids, according to a source close to the star. But the source also told ET that Kanye doesn’t expect any reconciliation to happen in the immediate future. However, Kim is said to be “happy to see that chapter close” as she filed the divorce papers.

Sources shared that the singer hadn’t been doing well since the divorce was filed and had been trying to distract himself with work.

Kim, 40, took steps to end the pair’s six-year marriage and they will now have to work out how to separate their assets which are said to be worth $2.1 billion. She was said to have first met with her divorce attorney Laura Wasser in July to get the divorce ball rolling. The papers didn’t have a date of separation listed on them.

It’s believed that Kanye has moved to the family’s country estate while Kim has stayed in Los Angeles with their kids North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, one. Kim has requested the pair have joint physical and legal custody over the children to make sure they make any decisions together that will best suit the youngsters.

The couple, who first went public with their romance in 2012, had been living separate lives for several months before Kim started the divorce procedure.
