TikTok influencer who used Gorilla Glue as hair spray ends up in hospital.

A social media influencer who used industrial glue to style her hair ended up in hospital after it failed to wash out a month later. Tessica Brown, who boasts almost 688,000 TikTok followers, applied Gorilla Glue in place of regular setting spray, but was left with a permanent side parting as a result.

On the clip sharing platform, she revealed how she'd been forced to check herself into A&E at St Bernard Parish Hospital in Chalmette, Louisiana. Ms Brown said she had run out of got2b glued spray and regrettably used a heavy duty alternative, originally designed for sticking wood together for furniture.

"My hair, it don’t move, you hear what I’m telling you - it don’t move," she said, claiming she had washed it more than 15 times. My hair has been like this for about a month now," she continued, adding: "It’s not by choice - when I do my hair I like to finish it off with a little got2b glued spray you know just to keep it in place."

Holding up a can of the adhesive, she said: "Bad, bad, bad idea!"

In a follow-up video she said the glue had fused to her hair and she couldn't even shave it off, admitting she is suffering from painful headaches. After the clip was viewed 15 million times, Ms Brown admitted herself to hospital on Saturday, documenting her trip in multiple Instagram posts.

Then, a new video on YouTube shows a woman running a product through Ms Brown's hair while adding water to stop it "burning as much". The treatment leaves the influencer crying and rocking back and forth - and the clip ends without revealing if the treatment had worked.

Gorilla Glue told TMZ it is possible to remove the glue without going to hospital.

A spokesperson said: "The less aggressive solvent for her hair/scalp would be rubbing alcohol to try and saturate her hair and then gently comb it out and shampoo."

They added if Ms Brown's hair has indeed been stuck for a month, it's most "likely fractured at the root", adding that Gorilla Glue staff "certainly hope for the best".
