Tanya Roberts' cause of death has been confirmed as a urinary tract infection that spread to her organs. The former Bond Girl passed away at the age of 65 at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Monday, just hours after her agent Mike Pingel mistakenly announced her passing.
Pingel has now said in a statement: "With a heavy heart I can confirm the death of Tanya Roberts (age 65) last night on January 4, 2021 around 9:30pm PT at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Her 18-year domestic partner Lance O'Brien received the phone call from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last night at their home confirming her passing.
"Roberts' cause of death was from a urinary tract infection which spread to her kidney, gallbladder, liver and then blood stream. Today, January 5, 2021 at 10:00am PT, O'Brien picked up Roberts' personal possessions from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center."
He added: "Roberts was an animal rights activist. In lieu of flowers, they are asking for donations to be given in Roberts name to the ASPCA. An online memorial for Tanya Roberts will be announced shortly. The family ask for privacy as they mourn her death."

Tanya had been in hospital since Christmas Eve after collapsing while walking her dogs. She was rushed to hospital in Los Angeles and put on a ventilator. Her agent confirmed she had died on Monday, but later announced she was still alive in the ICU, before confirming she'd passed away.
Lance has since revealed doctors said she was getting better before she was rushed to intensive care. He said he "collapsed" after leaving her hospital room where she died.
Lance said: "It was early in the morning, six o'clock in the morning, and they go 'OK she's getting better, we gave her some blood sugar because her sugar was low and she's responding.' So I figure this is going to be a short-lived event, next thing I know she's going to the hospital in the emergency, you can't visit her, you can't talk to her because she's on a ventilator.

"I haven't been able to see her, they let me go see her two days ago, Sunday or whatever, and I go down there. She got up a few times, opened her eyes, those beautiful eyes, she's responding, she's responding, she's responding, and they told me that was just a reflex.
“Then about 90 seconds later her eyes rolled back in her head and she was out and I was just beside myself. I got back into the elevator, I didn't know where I was at. My gasping, I was upset, my gasping. I just said goodbye to Tanya. That was it, I just passed out."
Over her three decade spanning career, Tanya made numerous appearances in film and TV shows and posed for Playboy. She is perhaps best known for playing Donna Pinciotti's 'hot mum' Midge, in sitcom That 70s Show. She was also Bond girl Stacey Sutton alongside Roger Moore in 1958's A View to a Kill and starred in the the fifth and final season of Charlie's Angels between 1980 and 1981.
Rest in peace.
