Hip Hop 'First Lady' Nazizi is paying tribute to her brother, Feroze, on what would have been his 37th birthday. Feroze, formerly of Cash Money Brothers (CMB), died at the age of 23 following an accident on December 16, 2006.

The Boomshakatak star who got news of his passing while travelling from Holland to Germany with fellow Necessary Noize legend Wyre, shared a sweet photo of Feroze on her Instagram page on Wednesday, writing in the caption…
“14 years without you by my side. I've cried so much today coz there's no year I've missed your presence like this one. I don't want to believe that I'll never do your hair again or just take a pic with your silly a**. Love you so much Firoz .made a couple of moves this year that I think you would be so proud of! Wish u were here Bruv. R.I.P”
Speaking to Standard Entertainment & Lifestyle in 2019, the award-winning proud mother of a son, Tafari Firoz, whom he named after her brother, said his passing hit her hard.

“You know Feroze was one of those people who would always come in like, ‘you need to do another song. We are going to the studio today, we don’t care if you don’t feel it, and you’re going to do it.’ And so, he used to push me. He used to believe in my music, even maybe more than I did. When he passed, it was not just about losing a brother. It was about losing everything. I was not even motivated to go the studio to record music anymore because I didn’t have the same feedback, the same support, when I used to go to the shows it was not the same anymore,” she said.

She added, “So a lot of my music reminded me of him when I went to the studio. I had to kick myself out of it because, you know, Feroze wouldn’t want me to just sit around and not do music because he is not there. He would actually want me to push harder and even more. And so I have to sometime remember those things about him. Until today I remember when I have something to decide on, I always have to go back and think what would Feroze’s advice be? He was younger than me but he knew so much.”
