John Legend has got a matching tattoo with his wife Chrissy Teigen to honour their late son after tragically losing him on September 30. The All Of Me singer, 41, has followed in his wife's footsteps as he decided to etch their baby boy Jack's name on their wrists as they continue to navigate their way through the tragic loss. Snaps of the couple's ink jobs were shared by tattoo artist Winter Stone on Instagram.

Alongside the snaps of John and Chrissy's tribute tattoos, the artist captioned the post: "JACK @chrissyteigen @johnlegend. My heart is with you, sending you all the love!" Chrissy shared a snap of her tribute tattoo last week, as she took to Instagram to show fans that Jack's name will not only be forever in her heart, but also on her skin. Her Jack tattoo is close to her other inking that are the names of John, Luna and Miles.

She and singer John shared a string of images as they broke the tragic news that their baby boy Jack had died on September 30. Chrissy says she had come to terms with what was going to happen, that she'd be induced to deliver her 20-week-old baby, who would never have survived inside the womb. She had previously been on bed rest for a month, trying to reach the 28-week mark, a "safer" zone for the fetus.

She was diagnosed with partial placenta abruption, and says that she'd had issues with her placenta before. Chrissy says she lay in bed for days, bleeding and changing her own adult diapers every time it became too uncomfortable to lie in the blood. The former model said nothing could be done to save her baby, and that they'd tried blood transfusions before finally realising their efforts were useless.

Pregnancy loss that occurs after the 24-week point is known as stillbirth whereas if it happens before that time it is referred to as a miscarriage. In a blog post, the mum-of-two wrote that in spite of "bags and bags of blood transfusions" the doctors "were never able to stop the bleeding". Chrissy said that she will never be able to forget the experience of giving birth to her son. She said she, John and her mum each held onto little Jack to say their goodbyes to him.
