John Cena has broken his silence by posting a cryptic tweet amid reports he's married his girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh in secret. The wrestler-turned-actor, 43, tied the knot with his partner, 31, in Tampa, Florida on October 12, according to a marriage certificate seen by TMZ.com.

Cena has yet to comment on the reports, but he posted a cryptic tweet today after the story broke. He wrote: "Get lost in it, just don’t get caught up in it." It's Cena's second trip down the aisle as he was previously married to Elizabeth Huberdeau. They wed in 2009 but split just three years later in 2012. The Daddy's Home star went on to strike up a romance with fellow wrestler Nikki Bella. They got engaged in 2017 but split a year later in April 2018 - just weeks before they were due to exchange vows.
The star is believed to have started dating Shay in early 2019 following his split from Nikki Bella. Cena is said to have met Shay met on the set of his 2019 movie Playing With Fire and they made their relationship official by walking the red carpet together at the film's premiere later that year. His former fiancee Nikki previously opened up about the reason behind their split, admitting they had different views on starting a family.
Speaking on Maria Menounos's YouTube show Better Together, she explained: "Overall, we did have such an incredible relationship. It was just two people that wanted two different lives but were trying so hard to make it one. Even in the end when he was willing to give me kids, I could just tell, it's not what he wanted. And that's really, like, you know, what pushed me in the end, I was like, 'Am I'm going to force someone to be a father?' What if he looks at you down the road and just regrets everything, and then you have this child and you've built this life. Is that what you want? And I remember thinking, 'it's not what I want.'

Nikki went on to get engaged to her Dancing With the Stars partner Artem Chigvintsev at the start of this year. She gave birth to their son Matteo in July.
