Maria Atwoli, daughter to popular Trade Unionist Francis Atwoli sent a message to her overnight followers who have been flocking her social media accounts after her father revealed her handles. In a message to her over 3,000 new Twitter followers, the recent law graduate stated that she should not be confused for a politician or trade unionist.
She went on to add that she does not tolerate stupidity as she replied to one of her followers. She warned anyone who may offend her that she will be quick to block them. "To my new 3k + followers... There’s no room for bad vibes here... I’m not a politician neither am I a trade Unionist... Chat nonsense unaenda Mexico... Si mkuwe na siku poa..." she posted.
Her Twitter account blew up overnight after her father shared her handle in a congratulatory message he posted on his social media platforms. Ms Atwoli recently graduated from law school and her father went on to throw a lavish graduation party for her.
Moments from the lavish party were also documented through videos and photos that were later shared on social media by Atwoli’s wife Mary Kilobi.
“Congratulations Wakili Maria?????????” read a caption on photos shared by Kilobi. Atwoli also put up two photos accompanied with a congratulatory message to daughter Maria, stating that he is very proud her. “Congratulations my daughter @atwolimaria on your graduation as a lawyer. Always proud of you” tweeted Atwoli.

Maria replied to her dad's praise thanking him for being supportive. "Thank you for always being a supportive dad. @AtwoliDza," she wrote. In January, Atwoli also held a graduation party for his wife, Mary Kilobi, at their palatial home in Kajiado County. The news anchor graduated from the University of Nairobi with a masters in international studies towards the end of 2019.
"I graduated in absentia from the university because I had visited the UK at the time, but held the party in January," said Kilobi. Narrating how their love blossomed, Kilobi explained that the Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) boss had proposed to her but she kept on turning him down but he never gave up on her.

“He proposed to me but I said no. But he insisted, saying that he was serious and would wait for even 1,000 years for me to say ‘yes’ and marry him,” revealed Kilobi. “But I have now realised that age should never be a key consideration in a relationship. Atwoli is that guy who is never bothered about mundane issues that sometimes break up marriages,” she added.
