Netizens react to Stivo Simple Boy’s new look after dental procedure

Popular Kenyan singer Stephen Otieno better known as Stivo Simple Boy has sent social media into a frenzy with his new look after undergoing a dental procedure to align his teeth. The elated singer shared the before and after pictures on his social media and netizens can’t keep calm over how amazing he looks.

“Guys, do you remember eight months ago I had braces installed to beautify my teeth? Today the treatment ended and I feel more confident. Orthodontics Kenya has transformed my smile with technology. I recommend them for all your dental problems. Au sio? Ndoo manaake,” he wrote.

In November 2019, Stivo announced that he would be embarking on the corrective procedure to align his teeth and give himself a better smile.

Reactions

“Cute I love it keep going boy,” wrote one user as another advised Stivo flaunt his killer smile to the ladies now that his teeth are as perfect. Despite many being happy for the Kibera-based singer, a section of felt disappointed that he got rid of his ‘trademark’.

Trolls

The singer has had to, unfortunately, fight off trolls and cyberbullies criticizing his looks. Not too long ago 2005 BET Coming to the Stage finalist Roland Powell, better known as Lil Duval came under fire for making fun of the singer on social media.

Lil Duval mocked Stivo as a black smiley face emoji a move that did not sit well with Kenyans with Octopizzo writing in part: “Lil Duval this is not funny at all! May you have kids one day that we could use as memes too.”

Dating

The singer admitted in a previous interview that he is single and has never been intimate with any woman, explaining that he is waiting until marriage.  The singer however identified Tanzanian actress cum businesswoman Wema Sepetu as his ideal type of woman because of her beauty and poise.
