Meek Mill splits from girlfriend a week after Kanye said he 'cheated with Kim'

 Meek Mill has split from his girlfriend in the same week as Kanye called him out.

Meek Mill has announced that his relationship with Milan Rouge Harris is over, in the same week that Kanye West called him out for meeting up with Kim Kardashian. The 33-year-old rapper welcomed his first child with Milan, 31, just two months ago but has said that they are going to "remain friends" as they look to bring up their baby as "separate parents." Writing on Twitter, Meek, whose real name is Robert Rihmeek Williams, announced: "We [sic] me and Milano decided to remain friends and build our child as separate parents...

"We still have mad love for each other but we both came to an understanding! -meek-.”

He reposted his tweet to Instagram, where he added: "@iammilanrouge no fall out either just moving forward! Still love! This for protection so social media won’t think we moving wrong.”

Milan is the designer behind streetwear label Milano di Rouge was romantically linked to Meek for about a year before they announced they were expecting a baby together in February. The news broke during an online argument Meek was having with his ex-girlfriend, Nicki Minaj. Milan had already announced in December 2019, without saying who the father was but Meek seemingly confirmed this when he hit back at Minaj with: "My girl is with me pregnant watching me tweet about my ex is very clownish … Ima exit."

Meek is already a dad to Rumad and Rihmeek with ex-girlfriend Fahimah Raheem, was overjoyed when his baby boy was born on May 6, which is the rapper's birthday. He announced the birth on Twitter, writing at the time: "Milano dropped me off a king on my birthday! #thebestgift."

The split has come in the same week as Kanye West calling him out during a Twitter rant, in which he accused Meek of meeting Kim Kardashian for more than just prison reform on their minds. They are both activists for changing the prison system in the United States but Kanye hinted at something more during their hotel meet, with him saying that he had been trying to divorce Kim ever since.

Kanye tweeted: “I’ve been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf for 'prison reform'. Meek is my man and was respectful. That’s my dog Kim was out of line."

Meek denied anything untoward happened and photos have surfaced of him having lunch with Kim, along with philanthropist Clara Wu Tsai.
