Singer August Alsina drops 'Entanglement' after Jada Pinkett-Smith affair bombshell

August Alsina has released a new song titled Entanglements seemingly to be about his affair with Jada Pinkett-Smith. Jada, 48, said her marriage to actor Will Smith, 51, was over as she spilled all on her "entanglement" with love rival August which prompted him to express his point of view through a song. Singer August, 27, claimed he was given permission to have an affair with the actress by her Hollywood actor star hubby but Jada set the record straight in her Red Table Talk.

During her publicised chat with Will, Jada clarified her husband didn't have to give the new love rival permission because they were over - almost "indefinitely".

August's new song appeared to detail his fling with Jada as the lyrics definitely hit home following his bombshell interview with The Breakfast Club's Angela Yee earlier this month. August was the first to spill on his secret romantic rendezvous - leaving the world in shock as no one saw it coming.

The lyrics read: "The definition of entanglement / It's when you're tangled in the sheets / Girl I know that we don't call it a relationship / But you're still f******' with me."

August could also be heard singing about the past by admitting he told Jada his "darkest stories" all while being "her little secret".

Rick Ross then rapped: "Saddest part is I still love you, just to keep it simple."

August responded in rap: "You left your man to f*** with me, just to pay him back. Don't you know that's cold-hearted?"

Jada and Will faced the marriage rumours together during a face-to-face interview last week.

"August was probably trying to communicate, I could see how he would perceive it as permission as we were separated amicably. He wanted to make it clear he's not a homewrecker. Which he's not."

Jada poured out her heartbreak over her split from Will as she grieved what she thought was the end of their marriage while she romanced August. The mother-of-two said she was "in a lot of pain" as her marriage to Will crumbled.

She said: "I was in a lot of pain. I was broken."

Jada embarked on a whirlwind romance four to four and a half years ago with August when she was going through "difficult times" with Will.

She said: "I wanted to feel good. It had been so long since I felt good. It was really a joy to just help heal somebody."
