Police are searching for a Nairobi businessman reported missing last Wednesday and his vehicle found abandoned in Juja on Friday.
Dafton Mwitiki, who manages a tours company in Nairobi was reported missing at Kilimani police station.
His black Land Rover Discovery was found abandoned at an estate in Juja following a search and rescue operation by his family and friends.
Juja police Chief Dorothy Migarusha yesterday told Sunday Standard that members of the public informed the police of the vehicle that had been abandoned with its doors wide open.

She said the owner of the vehicle is yet to be traced.
On Friday, friends of the missing man, with the help of sniffer dogs, combed areas around the place where Mwitiki’s vehicle was found.
Mwitiki’s personal effects including his mobile phones and documents are missing, according to other informed sources.
