Nicki Minaj's husband has reportedly once again had a run-in with the US law.
Kenneth Perry - who the musician tied the knot with last year - was arrested by U.S. Marshals on an indictment for failing to register as a sex offender, TMZ reports.
The outlet says that Perry handed himself over to the police.
The American website reports that according to law enforcement the newlywed was pulled over by police in Beverly Hills on November 15, 2019, and it came to light that Nicki's partner was a registered sex offender in New York State but had not registered in California.
The Los Angeles District's Attorney reportedly charged Petty for not registering as a sex offender and he was arrested and released on a $20,000 bond.
It seems that Kenneth did not check in with the authorities after as he has been indicted in federal court for once again failing to register and is set to face the judge today.
If convicted on the federal charge for failure to register, Kenneth faces up to 10 years in prison, TMZ adds.
Nicki and her beau, who has been convicted of manslaughter and registered as a sex offender, tied the knot less than a year after their romance began.

The couple has been dating since 2018.
It's believed that Nicki met Kenneth when they were teenagers and living in Queens, but that they didn't pursue a romantic relationship until they were adults.
The star has faced some criticism for her romance with Kenneth but she's made it very clear that she doesn't care what anyone else thinks.
Defending him in an Instagram post, she wrote: "He was 15, she was 16 … in a relationship. But go awf Internet. Y’all can’t run my life. Y’all can’t even run y’all own life. Thank you boo."
TMZ reports that Kenneth spent seven years behind bars for first-degree manslaughter, which he pleaded guilty to after initially being charged with second-degree murder.
