Six individuals from all around the globe, each the very best at what they do, have been chosen not only for their skill, but for a unique desire to delete their pasts to change the future. The team is brought together by an enigmatic leader (Ryan Reynolds), whose sole mission in life is to ensure that, while he and his fellow operatives will never be remembered, their actions damn sure will.
Thumbs up:
This film is a perfect release, it has action and it has Ryan Reynolds based humour. Netflix is providing all types of content and we are here for it. Great stunt work, expensive and well done CGI and great chemistry between actors that keeps you up interested all the way through the movie. If you’re addicted to strong great action scenes with exciting escape scenes, then this movie is your type.
Thumbs down:
It is filled with explosions, car chases and gross deaths, with an attempt to buy credit with scenes of the people affected by this tyrant. And all played with a lot of product placement. There’s some great action pieces but then it’s followed up by lots of quick shots from different angles that are of no use, or a slow motion sequence that is out of place together with cheesy forced one-liners.
Verdict:
It’s the best parts of Archer, Die Hard, Mission Impossible, Deadpool and The Expendables. It’s a Bay film, just have fun.
