After the explosive audio clip of Amber Heard appearing to admit to physically abusing her ex-husband Johnny Depp, his lawyer has spoken to Mirror Online about the shocking ordeal.
A series of taped conversations obtained by the Daily Mail are reported to capture the Aquaman actress, 33, in 2015 confessing to physical tantrums - including her beating Depp with pots, pans and vases.
And now Depp's lawyer Adam Waldman has told Mirror Online that Heard was "serially violent" towards Depp, before "she concocted an elaborate abuse hoax to cover it up".
On the tape recordings, the couple attempted to work through their marriage problems as Depp, 56, told Heard the violence has to stop.
Mr. Waldman exclusively told Mirror Online: "The first of Amber Heard’s confessional recordings of her conversation with Johnny Depp expose that Ms. Heard was serially violent towards Mr. Depp and then concocted an elaborate abuse hoax to cover it up.
"Shockingly, Ms. Heard claims her motive was that Mr. Depp was always trying to 'split' to escape her abuse."
Heard filed for divorce in May 2016 after accusing Depp of domestic violence 18 months after they tied the knot.
More than two years later, she wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post about how she “faced our culture’s wrath” for speaking up against violence.
Mr Waldman added: "Mr. Depp’s trial against Heard’s partner the Sun begins March 23 - institutions and individuals who have served as Amber Heard’s co-conspirators will face their reckoning next.
"We have rained facts for years on a media that refuses to report them. In the end, #Justiceforjohnnydepp only comes because THE PEOPLE viewed the evidence and demand it."

Heard is known as an avid advocate for victims of domestic violence, and a passionate women's rights ambassador.
After their divorce, Depp sued Heard for $50million (£37.8m) for defamation, after she claimed she had received death threats and lost out on work after accusing him of domestic abuse.
In the defamation lawsuit, the actor claimed Heard threw a vodka bottle at him and caused the bones in the tip of his right middle finger to shatter a month after they wed.
Depp also claims that he was dropped from Pirates of The Caribbean just four days after her piece was published in the Washington Post.
In court documents obtained by Mirror Online, Depp's team say: “Ms Heard purported to write from the perspective of 'a public figure representing domestic abuse' and claimed that she 'felt the full force of our culture’s wrath for women who speak out' when she 'spoke up against sexual violence.'"
His lawsuit says he's the victim of an "elaborate hoax" that was allegedly instigated by Heard to generate positive publicity and advance her career.
It claims: "Ms Heard is not a victim of domestic abuse; she is a perpetrator.

"She hit, punched and kicked me. She also repeatedly and frequently threw objects into my body and head, including heavy bottles, soda cans, burning candles, television remote controls and paint thinner cans, which severely injured me."
The recorded conversation reportedly includes the pair discussing their argument from the previous day, with Depp accusing Heard of getting "f**king violent" before hitting him in the jaw.
However, in the court documents from the suit, Heard claims: "Johnny grabbed me by my hair and choked me against the refrigerator in the kitchen.
"I tried to stand myself up but I was sliding around the glass-strewn floor and countertop. Johnny threw me away from him, and I tried to run away as Johnny continued to throw objects and alcohol at me.
“In one of the most horrific and scariest moments of this three-day ordeal, Johnny grabbed me by the neck and collarbone and slammed me against the countertop.
"I struggled to stand up as he strangled me, but my arms and feet kept slipping and sliding on to the spilled alcohol and were dragged against the broken glass on the countertop and floor, which repeatedly slashed my feet and arms."
Heard continues: "Scared for my life, I told Johnny, ‘You are hurting me and cutting me.’ Johnny ignored me, continuing to hit me with the back of one closed hand, and slamming a hard plastic phone against a wall with his other until it was smashed into smithereens.
"While he was smashing the phone, Johnny severely injured his finger, cutting off the tip of it... Once I was able to get away, I barricaded myself in an upstairs bedroom."
A spokeswoman for Heard accused Depp of "vindictively" leaking the tape and trying to victim-blame their client.
The spokeswoman told Mail Online: "Anyone familiar with the dynamics of domestic abuse would immediately recognize what is really going on here.
"Throughout the extended tape recording that Johnny Depp vindictively turned over to the press, Ms Heard repeatedly attempts to placate Mr Depp, ignore his accusations, and force him to acknowledge what was really happening in their relationship.

"For Mr Depp, who lived and lives in an echo chamber of his own making, to try to twist this private conversation to suggest either that he didn't abuse Ms Heard or that she somehow 'deserved it' is nothing more than the latest misogynistic effort at victim-blaming."
The estranged couple eventually agreed to a $7million divorce settlement in August 2016.
