The 2019 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results are finally out.
According to Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha in a function held at the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) headquarters, 125, 746 students attained university entry grade C+ and above.
Candidates who sat the exams can access their results by sending an SMS with the ‘Index Number’ to 20076. The candidates can as well access their results by visiting the KNEC portal later in the day when it will be updated.
This year’s exams began on Monday, November 4, and ended on November 27. The marking was concluded by December 13 and results approved by KNEC on Monday, 16.
A total of 699,745 candidates sat for the examinations.
