Angelina Jolie is reportedly letting her legal battles with Brad Pitt go cold - as she is not looking to let him have joint custody of their kids.

After a couple of years in which the stewardship of their children was among the priorities of their split, it now seems that Angelina is happy to carry on with the current arrangement and deny Brad having joint custody.

Brad and Ange have Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, Knox, 11, and Vivienne, 11, and a source has said that their current arrangement is suiting Angelina just fine.

Speaking to Hollywood Life, the source said: "They have a complicated arrangement at present, but she has primary custody with Brad getting tons of visitation as instructed by a judge the last time they went to court."

The couple split in 2016 and it would seem that there will be no finalisation to their custody battle any time soon.

The source continued: "No, she has no plans to offer him joint custody."

Brad and Angelina reportedly reached a temporary custody agreement in November 2018 and this decreed that Brad had "less than 50 percent custody of the couple’s six children."

According to The Blast, Angelina is looking to keep it this way "unless she’s ordered to do so by the judge."

There doesn't seem to be an issue with Brad having the children but Angelina is keen to have overall control of their destiny.

The source continued: "She has no issues with Brad spending time with the kids and she is being sure to follow all visitation guidelines set down by the courts, but she doesn’t want to give up primary custody.

"Of course, if the law requires her to give Brad joint custody she will comply, that’s a given."

It that decision was made, the source said " it will be very hard on her because the kids are her world.”

The current co-parenting situation is reportedly 'drama free' and working well.

The source clarified: "When they’re all in town [in Los Angeles] the kids have their visits with their dad at his home in Los Feliz several times a week.

"They travel back and forth with their bodyguards and drivers and Angelina doesn’t go along for the hand off. It is very well coordinated and drama free."
