Popular TV presenter Hussein Mohamed has left Citizen TV.
The prime time news anchor has revealed that he is taking a break from the silver screen at the end of this month.
“I have decided to take a break after October In Sha Allah to concentrate on other matters,” part of his post read.
The break brings the senior anchor’s marvelous 10 years on TV to a halt and he was quick to appreciate the moment and those he has been working with at Citizen TV.
“It has been a wonderful 10 years at Citizen TV. I have enjoyed & relished every moment I shared with my colleagues at RMS.” He shared.
The exit of the celebrated journalist who joined the RMS owned station in 2008 comes in the wake of other departures from the station including host Joey Muthengi and news anchors Jacque Maribe and Anne Kiguta among others.
Hussein did not, however, reveal much on his next endeavors but promised to be back soon.
It has been a wonderful 10 years at Citizen TV. I have enjoyed & relished every moment I shared with my colleagues at RMS. I have decided to take a break after October In Sha Allah to concentrate on other matters. Loved the fans, the critics & everything in between. See you soon.
