Beyonce's father Mathew Knowles has revealed he has breast cancer.
The 67-year-old spoke of his diagnosis during an interview with Michael Strahan on Good Morning America, which will air on Wednesday.
Mathew bravely spoke of his experience to mark October being Breast Cancer Awareness month.
"How was it to tell your family about the diagnosis?" Strahan asks the dad in a preview clip.
His answer will be revealed on GMA tomorrow.
Around 390 men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK, more commonly among men aged between 60 and 70.
Mathew is best known for managing girl group Destiny's Child - with members including Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams - in the late 90s and early 00s.
He went on to manage his daughter after the group' went their separate ways until she ended their working relationship in 2011.
Mathew divorced from Beyonce's mum Tina Knowles in the same year after 31 years of marriage.
He spoke of his relationship with daughters Beyonce and Solange in a recent interview with Paper magazine amid rumours they've become estranged.
Mathew said: "It’s not a daily dialogue. Daughters tend to always gravitate to their mums more than their dads. I think its pretty standard in the universe, my relationship."
Recalling the end of his professional relationship with the Crazy in Love singer, Mathew said:
"The most challenging thing was separating and walking the line from manager to father. That’s very difficult in the music industry. If I had to do it all over again, I would change nothing because I believe failure is an opportunity to grow, not a reason to quit. Most people when they make mistakes, they want to quit rather than learn from it."
