A man identified as Jack Matara took to social media to thank vivacious Kenyan singer, Esther Akoth alias Akothee who, according to Matara, inspired him to build a 4-bedroom house for his parents.
In a screenshot shared by Akothee, Matara says that he was challenged to improve the living standards of his parents by the self-proclaimed president of single mothers who constantly shared photos of the house she has built for her parents.
“Let me confess this one. I never used to like you at all until the day you posted those pictures of you and your parents, and the house you build (sic) for them, and then boom! That changed my mindset towards you completely.
"In the process, you opened my mind differently. A 4 bedroom house I had started to build for me, now is going to be parent’s courtesy of Akothee’s inspiration. I am handing them the key by this time next year or by December next year hopefully.
"Keep living your life no manual and listen to what God says about you, not people,” read the screenshot.
Visibly vindicated by the post, Akothee, who has time and again been on the receiving end with many netizens accusing her of not being a role model, simply responded with "AMEN".
The singer who is said to be expecting her 6th baby, owns a retirement home in Rongo claimed to be valued at Sh100million.
That is not all.
According to sources, the singer’s North Coast beachfront mansion is reportedly worth Sh120 million. Her Nairobi leafy suburb estate, alone, is estimated to worth Sh80 million.
She also owns a four-bedroom pad in Zurich, Switzerland and a kingly house in France.
