Kenyan gospel Singer, L-Jay Maasai is yet to come to terms with the death of his grandfather and former Transport and Licensing Board (TLB) boss Hassan ole Kamwaro, who died after a long battle with cancer.
The late Hassan ole Kamwaro died on Wednesday, August 28 at the age of 78 in Oklahoma, USA, where he had been receiving treatment at the Mercy Oncology Centre.
Kamwaro’s third born daughter, Diana Kamwaro, confirmed the sad news of her father’s passing through a phone call adding that he died at 7 am Kenyan time.
Taking to his Instagram, L-Jay shared a screen shot he took of news of his grandfather passing with the caption, “Rest in Peace Grandpa. I have no words.”
A section of his Instagram followers joined in to mourn with the musician by leaving condolences messages.

According to the family spokesperson, Kamwaro’s body will be flown to Kenya from the US to facilitate funeral arrangements.
