News anchor Victoria Rubadiri has left Hot 96 barely three months after she made her radio comeback after more than 10 years on TV. The eloquent news anchor was part of the Sunday morning show, ‘Arise on Hot’ where she co-hosted alongside Pastor Anthony.

The 32-year old mother of one announced that the August 25 show was her last.

“Top of the morning. It’s my final Arise on Hot show. Who’s up? ALC stand up and be counted,” shared Rubadiri.

It was, however, not clear why the anchor exited the station as she did not reveal any further details.

In her radio comeback post on her Instagram account three months ago, Rubadiri narrated how she fell in love with the medium because her parents worked on radio for over ten years.

“So, this is happening! Radio is really where the media bug first bit me when I was, wait for it...three years old! My parents were in radio for over 10 years and being in the studio was like a second home. My journey brings me back to this beloved platform to share, connect and inspire. I’m so excited! So, tune in every Sunday morning and chime in!” she wrote.

It will be remembered that she began her career as a business journalist and news anchor at Capital FM where she worked for about two years before she left for NTV as a TV news anchor and reporter.

Last year, Rubadiri parted ways with NTV and moved to Citizen TV.

Victoria holds a bachelor’s degree from Temple University, USA, and did Public Relations jobs in New Jersey and New York before moving back to Kenya after emigrating with her family aged 10.
