A man has died after being strangled by his pet snake as he tried to bathe it, according to reports.
The 42-year-old is believed to have been found by his child after the 2.5 stone reptile wrapped itself around him and killed him.
The man, identified as Jana in reports in Indonesia, was buried alongside his three-meter long pet, which was killed by villagers.
Jana is believed to have been bathing his python when it happened on Friday morning in Citiru Village in Kutawaringin.
His devastated wife, named only as Elah, told Tribun: "I have resigned myself to the fact that my husband died because of a snake, it was fate."

The snake is believed to have escaped down a water channel around the toilet after killing Jana.
It was eventually killed to prevent it from attacking anyone else.
A villager named Rukiman said: "The snake that killed him was also buried close to Jana's tomb."
Pictures taken before the tragedy show Jana, who kept a number of snakes, proudly holding a reptile.
He would regularly raise snakes and sell them on to others, his wife said.
