Two years after hitting the world stage via an appearance on rapper French Montana’s song Unforgettable, Uganda’s dancing group Triplets Ghetto Kids are on a new high.
This is after they were featured by American pop star Chris Brown in his new song Back To Love.
Their incredible dance moves were reportedly shot in Kampala - a huge nod from a singer dubbed as the next Michael Jackson.
“Thank you our Brother @chrisbrownofficial for this Platform! Africa, Uganda is represented,” the group posted on Facebook.
Their touch in Unforgettable resulted in a special invite from Montana to Los Angeles, California, for a performance at the BET Awards in 2017.
That same year, Montana made the cover of VIBE magazine with the group .
“Their story is so special. How all of them just live together. The guy that they live with, found all of them separately, due to circumstances that happened to them and their families. Some of them… their parents died.
“Some of their parents had them and left them. Some of them were just dealt a really bad hand. All they have is art. That’s the most important part, they’re happy with nothing,” he told the magazine.
He reportedly purchased a multi-million shilling mansion for the group in Kampala’s Makyindye area.
The group rose to fame in 2014 after featuring in Eddy Kenzo’s Sitya Loss.
