Hard spitting hip hop rhyme viper Sharif Thabeet better known as Darassa is a man with an eye on the fine things in life.

Like his name suggests, he is schooling upcoming and established acts in the industry on music, wealth creation and investments.

According to Global Publishers, Darassa is living the good life in a luxurious mansion in Bahari Beach, Dar es Salaam, and cruises in two cars; a black BMW and a Toyota Alphard.

The outlet adds that before the Hasara Roho hit maker moved into the one storey home, he used to live with his mother in Kiwalani, Dar es Salaam.

But when his hit song Muziki made waves across the region, his fortunes changed, and he moved to Makongo before upgrading to his current address where he reportedly stays with his wife, daughter and mother.

So, does he rent or own it?

Well, when contacted, Darassa’s manager identified only as Kimbe said that the rapper was asleep in one of the rooms and was best placed to comment on the matter.

“Kwa sasa Darassa amelala, huwa ana kawaida ya kushinda studio kwake kwenye hicho chumba cha pili na ikifika saa moja asubuhi hupumzika,” Kimbe was quoted saying.

But when a local official who serves for what in Kenya are commonly referred to as Nyumba Kumi was contacted, he denied knowledge that the rapper was a resident.

Ninachokifahamu hiyo nyumba anamiliki mama mmoja anaishi Kunduchi (mama Maua) ila sina uhakika kama ameshaipangisha au ameshaiuza kwani sijafika eneo hilo kwa muda mrefu,” said Khalfan Suleiman a lands official in the area.
