A popular karaoke hostess was recently arraigned in court and charged with stealing Sh3, 837,710 in a complaint filed by Countryside Dairy Limited.
Police said that Christine Achieng’ Guda allegedly swapped company accounts with hers and went on to receive payments from Countryside’s clients.
Achieng’ was reportedly employed by the company on May 23 to October 23, 2018, during which period the company never received any payments.
The accused, who was before Makadara Law Courts denied the charges and was released on Sh250,000 cash bail.
